As 2009 comes to a close, it's time for the Seventh Annual Simtropolis Trixie Awards!

As you may know, each year the Simtropolis Community reflects back and considers all the great contributors and contributions that have been made to the community by all the dedicated and talented people who have added hours of enrichment and entertainment to our city building passion.

Here's your chance to acknowledge these contributors by nominating them for an award. As always, you'll find a list of predetermined award categories for this year, and if you don't find something that quite fits, you are free to create your own award (select the option at the bottom of the drop down list to do so!).

For each nomination tell us why you think the award fits the person you have chosen. If the nomination is for a particular CJ, BAT, or other specific item, please include that information.

The rules are the same: You can nominate any given person for only one award, but you may nominate as many different people as you like. Since you can only nominate a given person for one award, please consider carefully which award best fits that person.

Don't try to nominate yourself, you'll just get embarrassed! (And don't create a clone to nominate yourself since those nominations will be discarded and you'll risk further embarrassment.)

In previous years, there have been many award categories that have been decided by only a nomination or two. Your nomination does count! Nominate early, nominate often, just don't nominate the same person twice.

Remember, this is a way to say "Thanks" to your fellow members of our community, so please have fun!
